Personal illustration project celebrating some of the most influential artists in hip hop history. This large scale character illustration brings together iconic rap legends including Eazy-E, Run-D.M.C., Biggie Smalls, Ice Cube, 2Pac and many more into a single dynamic poster composition.

The artwork was created as an opportunity to explore character design, likeness illustration and complex multi character compositions while paying tribute to the artists who helped shape hip hop culture. Combining detailed hand drawn illustration with bold typography and classic old school influences, the final piece was designed as a vibrant celebration of rap music’s golden era.
